o   $90 per 45 minute lesson - $360/mo

o   $70 per 30 minute lesson - $280/mo

·    The monthly fee remains the same if there are 4 lessons or 5 lessons in the month.

o   Monthly fees are billed on the first of the month

o   Please note: Some months, November and December, may have only 3 lessons because of holidays. The monthly fee will remain the same in these months. Keep in mind that these fees go towards paying for renting venues for recitals, printing, materials, and other performance opportunities. Thank you for understanding.

·    Payment of lesson fees are due within 14 days of receiving invoice.

o   A $20 late fee will be charged if lesson fees are not paid within the 14 days.

·    The student, or parent, is responsible for covering the cost of books requested by the teacher for the lessons.

·    Fees can be paid online by card or PayPal. Other options, such as check and Venmo, are available as a payment option at request.

·    If the student arrives to the lesson late, they will finish only their remaining scheduled lesson time and will not be reimbursed for the missed lesson time.

·    If siblings are taking lessons, a sibling discount of 10% will be applied to your lesson fee!

·    If a price different from the listed prices above has been negotiated between the student and teacher, then the student may not be eligible for a flat rate monthly fee.

Cancelled/Rescheduled Lessons:

·    Lessons must be cancelled/rescheduled at least 12 hours prior to the start of that lesson.

·    Cancellations/reschedules can be self-cancelled/rescheduled online or by notifying the teacher.

o   Self-cancelling/rescheduling can be made through the lesson confirmation emails you received.

·    Rescheduling your lesson is preferred, but if you must cancel a lesson, the teacher may contact you to reschedule the cancelled lesson or will provide you with a coupon code to redeem a lesson through the online booking system.

Missed Lessons:

·    No refunds are made for missed lessons.

Stopping Lessons:

·    If you must stop taking lessons, please inform the teacher.

·    If you already paid for lessons, you must use up those remaining lessons.

·    There are no refunds for lessons already paid for.

Student Expectations & Responsibilities:

·    It’s important to arrive on time, be well prepared and bring all music and books needed for the lesson.

·    Life happens sometimes. It is understandable if a student comes to a lesson unprepared once in a while due to busy weeks. However, if these “off lessons” happen over consecutive weeks then the teacher may contact you to hopefully work out a solution.

Parent Expectations & Responsibilities:

·    Getting your child to practice outside of lessons is very important and required to develop the skills worked on in lessons. It is good to work with your child in setting up a good practice schedule and getting into a daily routine to help them remember to practice.

·    Music is incredibly rewarding and enjoyable but, just like a sport, it takes some work to improve and gain the skills.

The adventure of music is an enjoyable one. It is a lot of fun but it also requires some discipline and work. The skills you learn in music will stay with you for a lifetime. Enjoy the adventure!
